Sisters and Brothers,

System Council U8 and Duke Energy co-sponsored and attended the annual FPC Retiree Luncheon at the Bear Lake Clubhouse today. The weather was beautiful, the turnout was huge, and the food was amazing. Lumpy ran the event again like clockwork and almost everyone left happy with at least one door prize.

For the first time beginning this year, the Council and the company are co-sponsoring a second event at Reddy's Retreat on Monday, March 16th, for any retirees that aren't able to travel to Bear Lake, or simply just want to attend both. All retired FPC/ Progress Energy/ Duke Energy employees and guests are invited. Lunch is provided, and door prizes will be awarded.
