I sit in New York City tonight having watched a Memorial Day tribute at Carnegie Hall with my family and friends. Many of you gathered with yours for a long weekend and I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed your time as much as my family did.
Please take a minute to do one more thing in consideration of this day...remember that this day is not a celebration of life...but rather a remembrance of those that have fallen in the service of our great nation.
American patriots that have given their lives so that this country can stand as a beacon. What it stands for may mean different things to different people but in one thing let us all unite for today...to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
