Effective October 1, 2022, System Council U8 and the affiliated Local Unions will no longer be issuing a Lineman Travel ticket to an apprentice who completes Phase 4 training but not PAQ 4.

The Local Unions of System Council U8 have set up a gofundme for Savannah Wheeler and her young family who recently lost everything in a house fire. Savannah has worked part-time at the council office for several years and is the granddaughter of our Office Manager, Shirley Mashburn. If you are able to help this family in any capacity, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Union and the Company met in Wildwood yesterday and exchanged proposals. We will be working through their proposals over the next week and drafting counters to present beginning on September 6th. Please keep your mind on the job and continue working safely.
