Sisters and Brothers,
I want to be clear about where your union leadership stands on the proposed city takeover of Duke Energy in St. Petersburg. After reviewing the facts, consulting labor counsel, and looking closely at what similar takeovers have meant for utility workers elsewhere, we oppose it.
System Council U8 represents the men and women who keep the lights on at Duke.

| FSR Wages MOU |
Sisters and Brothers,
Please see the attached Memorandum of Understanding regarding the 2013 Memorandum of Changes. This MOU will provide a one-time exception to Item 18 and adjust the wage rate of the (4) employees named who are currently in the classification of FSR and not making the "grandfathered" rate of pay.

| Contract Ratified |
Sisters and Brothers,
We have a contract!! Membership has overwhelmingly voted to ratify a new 3-year working agreement. Thank you to everyone that took the time to vote and congratulations!! Thank you to my amazing team who spent the last 4.5 months working day and night to get this done....and a special thank you to Ms. Shirley for spending all day making sure people had access to vote.

Attached is the first draft of the 2025 Memorandum of Changes. Previously, I posted the marked-up Tentative Agreements with the strikes and mark-ups, which caused all kinds of confusion. This document shows the actual changes from the old contract language to the new contract language...without the counters and confusion.
